Pickford wins his fifth Coca-Cola Save of the Month award

Jordan Pickford has won the August 2026 Coca-Cola Save of the Month award for a record-extending fifth time following his incredible stop against Crystal Palace.

With the match goalless, the Everton goalkeeper brilliantly tipped Eddie Nketiah’s close-range strike on to the post, with his side then going on to enjoy a 2-0 win.

Pickford’s save was chosen as the best in August after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts.

He topped a six-man shortlist, which included two efforts from both Konstantinos Tzolakis (Hull City) and Djordje Petrovic (Bournemouth), as well as one from Alisson Becker (Liverpool).

Pickford last won the award in February 2026, which saw him move clear of Andre Onana, Aaron Ramsdale and David Raya, who have all claimed the prize three times.
